# Adil

Adil ([@adillahorei](https://instagram.com/adillahorei)) is a tour guide born
and raised in [Lahore](/places/lahore.md), and Harry publishes his booking
details in the video description.

He carries the whole Lahore food tour. The stalls are unmarked, several are
open only until early afternoon, and everything a viewer learns about them
comes out of Adil's mouth rather than off a sign — the 1864 gate and the low
second doorway commoners had to bow through, the halwa recipe carried from
Delhi, the tobacco cured for three months in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the fact that
pulao is Pashtun rather than Punjabi. He also fields Harry's questions about
Chinese infrastructure in [Pakistan](/countries/pakistan.md) and about Lahore's
population, and is candid that his own figure is higher than the published one.
