# Chinni

A creator in [Bangkok](/places/bangkok.md), [Thailand](/countries/thailand.md),
whose Instagram and TikTok Harry credits in the description and asks viewers to
follow. She carries the whole of the video she appears in.

She describes herself as **transgender**, and says *ladyboy* is the word commonly
used in Thailand. Harry asks his questions bluntly and she answers them the same
way, which is the reason the video works.

## What she says

- **She always felt this way**, and her parents recognised it when she was small.
  She began transitioning at 15 and has had surgery.
- **The question she is tired of**: strangers who open by asking about her
  anatomy. Her line is that she'll talk about it with someone she is dating, and
  that being asked it by someone she has just met is strange.
- **On who is interested**: British men first, German second, Spanish third, in
  her own ranking — and she likes British men, partly for the accent.
- **On criticism from parts of the LGBTQ community**, which she receives: her read
  is that people object to her sounding as if she speaks for everyone, when she is
  only ever saying what she is comfortable with herself.
- **Her advice to anyone questioning their own identity**: be honest about how you
  feel, and nobody can stop you being what you want to be.
- **On Bangkok**, as a local rather than as a subject: do Muay Thai, which she is
  good at, or go to the nightlife districts. Skip the ping pong shows, which she
  says are for nasty guys.
