He is guided throughout by Adil, a Lahore-born tour guide whose booking details he puts in the description, and the difference a guide makes is the practical argument of the video: almost none of these places are findable, several are breakfast-only, and the history attached to each one comes from Adil rather than from anything on a sign. Six or more meals: chana with kulcha bread from a man who started with a cart, lassi from a shop in its third generation since 1947, a four-dish breakfast stall in the Walled City that shuts at 2pm, pakoras from a family business of 74 years, fried fish, almond milk, a hookah with the last two brothers running one in the district, and beef pulao to close.
