# BEST Hotel in PAKISTAN ($200/night)🇵🇰

Arriving in [Lahore](/places/lahore.md) off the overnight train and checking
into a large luxury hotel for the next few days, with [Mac](/people/mac.md).
It is the sister property to the one in [Karachi](/places/karachi.md), and the
video is largely a tour of what that money buys.

The useful contrast is the food. Everything Harry has eaten in
[Pakistan](/countries/pakistan.md) so far has come off a street or out of a
kettle; this is the first time he eats the expensive version, and he says so
explicitly. Three courses for two came to about $40 — good value by his
standards and, as he adds himself, still expensive for most Pakistanis.

executive lounge that his room grade doesn't include, and a member of staff

Lahore station → minibus through rush hour → check-in → the room → the executive
lounge → pool, gym, sauna and spa → dinner at the hotel's Pakistani restaurant →
breakfast the next morning.
