# $45 LUXURY Pakistani Haircut 🇵🇰

Back in [Islamabad](/places/islamabad.md) after seven days in the north, Harry
goes for a trim and comes out ninety minutes later having had, by his own count,
seven or eight separate treatments he did not ask for and could not name.

**He found the place by searching, and says how**: not *barbers near me* but
*best barbers*, and this was the first result. It is the opposite of the usual
warning about search results, and he checks the theory with the staff, who
confirm they get both tourists and locals on the back of it.

The other thing worth keeping is the ride there. **The Uber driver tried to
refuse the fare**, and only stopped because Harry had already paid by card —
which by this point in the trip he treats as unremarkable. Asked about his own
city, the driver's line is that there are more good people here than bad, and
Harry's answer is that he has not had a single bad experience in four weeks.

*Obs: the barbershop is not named. Harry publishes its Facebook page in the
description and says on camera that he will — which is the trigger for leaving it
unnamed here, exactly as with the Lahore salon. What the treatment consists of
