Naked Spa in The Middle of Nowhere🇨🇴

Harry spends about four hours at a private spa in the forest outside Minca — a massage, then rounds of wood-fired sauna and a private waterfall — and calls it the best experience he has had in Colombia.

It is the most complete record in the bundle of a habit he mentions everywhere else in passing. The sauna-and-cold-water routine turns up two years later in northern Pakistan as a few minutes’ breathing on a fort terrace; here it is done properly, with the temperatures and durations stated as he goes: 60°C, 80°C, 90°C, and a last round at close to 100. See use cold exposure and breathwork.

The last round is where the video earns its place on do hard things on purpose — and then complicates it. He announces he is going to punish himself, does fifteen minutes at nearly 100°C, comes out dizzy, and stops for the day, saying he only knew where the line was because he does this at home.

He is also careful about the health claims in a way he usually isn’t: he gives his reasoning, calls it a very basic scientific explanation, and says plainly that he is not a scientist.

Key moments

  • [00:00] His Minca lodge — bamboo, a mosquito net, and a river to sleep to.
  • [01:05] A motor-taxi out of town, 10,000 pesos, about £1.50, on mostly unsurfaced roads.
  • [03:02] Dropped in what looks like nowhere; he admits the currency conversions are still tripping him up.
  • [03:32] How it was booked: an Instagram message asking for the best experience they do, and a 9 a.m. start.
  • [05:03] The treatment begins — palo santo, and an explanation framed around calming the mind.
  • [06:08] Afterwards: 45–50 minutes, a full-body massage with breathwork in it, and real work on a back that had been hurting after the hikes.
  • [06:38] The plan — short sauna intervals first, building up, with the waterfall between.
  • [07:09] Green mint tea, water, and a banana grown on site.
  • [08:14] First round: about 60°C.
  • [08:45] Eight minutes, and it wasn’t hard.
  • [09:17] The waterfall is completely private; nudity is fine because there is nobody there.
  • [10:20] Working out where it is deep enough to jump.
  • [11:21] In: cold, and too deep to touch the bottom.
  • [11:51] The after-effect, which he says he can’t describe properly, and that ten seconds in it stops being unpleasant.
  • [12:52] Second round at 80°C, 11–12 minutes.
  • [14:22] His explanation of the mechanism, with the disclaimer that he isn’t a scientist and this is all viewers are getting.
  • [15:23] Third round: 90°C, ten minutes, and the hottest sauna he says he has ever been in.
  • [16:57] Back into the water; skin going red.
  • [18:01] The last round announced as deliberate suffering — past the comfort zone.
  • [18:31] Nearly 100°C.
  • [19:02] Fifteen minutes done, water thrown on the coals at the end, and he comes out dizzy. He stops, and tells viewers to know their limits.
  • [20:03] The owners — a couple building a house on the site, aiming at sustainability.
  • [20:34] Four rounds, about four hours, and his verdict: the best thing he has done in Colombia.

Obs: the spa’s Instagram is published in the description and Harry recommends booking it on camera. Per the bundle’s naming rule the business is not named — only what the experience involved. He does not say what it cost.
