Harry's guide across the Nigeria trip, bookable through Bauchi Friends — he enters Harry into a Dambe fight, explains the wage economy and the cash-agent system, and pays when crowds close in.

The guide for Harry’s whole 2024 Nigeria trip, credited in every video’s description through Bauchi Friends, where he can be booked.
He is on camera very little and does two jobs that matter. The first is logistical and social: he gets Harry through markets where a foreigner with a camera draws a crowd, handles the payments when Harry is being pressed from all sides, and is the reason Harry can keep filming at all in Lagos.
The second is that he is the source for most of the hard numbers in the cluster. The average wage of 40,000 naira a month — about $27 — comes from him, as does the explanation of why the cities are filling up from the villages, and the account of how Nigerians actually get cash: ATM withdrawals capped at 20,000 or 40,000 naira a day depending on the bank, so anything larger goes through an agent who takes a commission and hands over cash against a bank transfer or a card machine.
He is also responsible for the most painful few minutes in the cluster: in Kano he entered Harry into a Dambe bout without warning, and Harry was knocked out. Harry declines to blame him for it, repeatedly and unprompted.
